Into the Night (Book): Eden, Cynthia: Sheltered in the shadows of the Smoky Mountains is the suspect who’s summoned FBI agent Macey Night’s fears to the surface. Every day that the “Profiler,” a vigilante serial killer, escapes justice is another day she’s reminded of what it is to be a ruthless predator’s prey.

When he learns why she’s there, he wants to do more than stay out of her way. He wants to help her stop this threat to the community and the people that he loves. But the man who is threatening Ben’s community has faded into the night, and it’s going to take every bit of cunning and instinct these two possess to find and stop him. Dec 26,  · Two FBI agents are caught in a merciless vigilante’s crosshairs in New York Times bestselling author Cynthia Eden’s electric Killer Instinct series Sheltered in the shadows of the Smoky Mountains is the suspect who’s summoned FBI agent Macey Night’s fears to the surface.

Into the Night is a tough book to grade. On the one hand it’s Brockmann. The humor, action, and snappy dialogue are all present. On the other hand, the book has problems. None of its problems make it a terrible read, but all of them, taken together, make Into the Night less than totally satisfactory. As usual in the books in this series, there are three story lines interwoven together, all. Descend into the night with a brand new teenage vampire book series. An unlikely team is faced with death, chaos, and the end of the world as we know it. Descend into the night with a brand new teenage vampire book series.
